CareDirect Telehealth delivers accessible, high-quality mental health care through a connected, multidisciplinary model. Care. Connected. Coordinated.
Transparent fees.
No surprises.
Session fees vary by discipline. Medicare rebates may be available for eligible services where the practitioner type, referral, care plan and MBS item requirements are met. The right care plan depends on your clinician: this may be a GP Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP), a Chronic Disease Management (CDM) referral or an Eating Disorder Management Plan. We also welcome self-funded clients. We are not a registered NDIS provider. We can work with Plan-managed and Self-managed NDIS participants, and we welcome DVA-funded clients and people with private health extras. What you can claim depends on your NDIS plan type and supports, your DVA referral or approval pathway, and your private health insurer and level of cover. Please confirm with your funder or your nurse before booking.

Questions about our services
How our clinical disciplines fit together, and what it means for you.
Medicare rebates may be available for eligible services where the practitioner type, referral, care plan and MBS item requirements are met. Psychology and Accredited Mental Health Social Worker sessions can be eligible under a GP Mental Health Treatment Plan. Occupational Therapy can be eligible under a Mental Health Treatment Plan for mental-health support, or under a Chronic Disease Management (CDM) plan for other needs. Dietitian sessions can be eligible under a CDM plan or an Eating Disorder Management Plan, not a Mental Health Treatment Plan. Counselling is generally private and does not attract a Medicare rebate. Your nurse will confirm what applies to your situation during intake.
No referral is required to start with CareDirect. Your nurse-led intake is open to anyone. A GP Mental Health Treatment Plan is only needed if you'd like Medicare rebates on eligible psychology and allied health sessions.
Yes. That's the CareDirect model. Many clients see a psychologist, a dietitian and a social worker concurrently, all coordinated through one shared care plan managed by your mental health nurse.
You don't have to. Your nurse-led intake is a 15-minute clinician-guided assessment that maps your goals and risk factors to the right combination of services, so you're matched from day one rather than guessing.
Yes. Our team includes AHPRA-registered psychologists, occupational therapists and dietitians, AASW-accredited mental health social workers, credentialled mental health nurses, and qualified counsellors. Each clinician holds the registration or accreditation appropriate to their discipline. All sessions run on encrypted, Australian-hosted video infrastructure.
Psychologist sessions are $230, Accredited Mental Health Social Worker (AMHSW) sessions are $180, Occupational Therapy (CDM) is $210, Dietitian (CDM) is $150, and Counsellor sessions are $135. These are our private fees. Medicare rebates may be available for eligible services where the practitioner type, referral, care plan and MBS item requirements are met. Some services are private and do not attract a Medicare rebate. See our pricing section below for full details.
